Plenty of spectators watching the action, waiting to play or just enjoying a glass Pims / Prosecco.

Great to see the green full of players enjoying the day.
The day started with a spider then onto the game. 7 teams in two groups. By the time the dust settled Rob Hill along with Heather Temple and Jane Stewart were winners of Group B and unbeaten. A bit tighter in Group A where after a poor start Matt Canning , Anne Taylor and Pam Williiams came through as clear winners.

The Winners ....
By the time the final was over everyone was ready for some food and Lee the King of the BBQ was at his very best producing some excellent food along with Sandra and her Salads  & Coleslaws. A fitting end to the day.
A big vote of thanks to Sandra & Pete Throup not only for making the day possible but for Pete managing to sell all the raffle tickets ... Guiness Book of records on alert !! For those members who kindly donated raffle prizes. Lee for his BBQ and Lee's wife Sharon who managed the Bar and introduced the Pims & Prosecco "Bar" enjoyed by everyone .... some more than others .... Yvette !!!!

A great day in all aspects .... First time Bowlers, New members, 42 players , nearly sixty for the BBQ. Not to be forgotten a profitable day for the Club and a welcome boost to Club Funds after major expenditure to the Clubhouse during the winter months.
